It was love at first sight with this skirt (understandably, right?) and the quality is just beautiful. It’s a great fabric and the peplum has a nice structure, none of those floppy peplum things which I hate. At first I was all, “oh great, houndstooth is back in for Fall,again!” but I can’t imagine this skirt being as gorgeous in another print.

I would recommend upsizing as I upsized a size but it’s still a bit tough to pull the zipper up and I definitely can’t sit comfortably :/ So maybe upsize 2 sizes? I’m not sure how that would look. In my experience, peplums look better tight than loose. I’m still going to wear the hell out of this skirt though, I feel like a bombshell in it!
