Q. Tell our SKORCH readers your name, where your from & what you do, School/Major or Career/Field?

A. Hello to all the Size Sexy Divas out there. My name is Andrea Sledge affectionately known as Nikki to many. I am a Native Texan born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I am currently a Property Tax Accountant for Accor Hospitality.

Q. What four must haves are in your purse?

A. LOL only 4, I can think of at least 10 but if I am downsizing to a small clutch for a night out on the town I would have to say that my four must haves are

1.     MAC Lip Gloss – C Thru (my fav)

2.      An extra pair of earrings – always come prepared

3.      Small Comb

4.      Wallet

Q. In your opinion who in the industry best represents Plus Size ?

A. There are so many CURVY DIVAS representing us well. From Mia Amber to Monique to Monif C these ladies are strutting their stuff. In my opinion I feel that the best representation for the Plus Size woman right now is Chenese Lewis. She is phenomenal. With the creation of the annual love your body day and her Plus Model Radio show she is truly embracing her curves and is not afraid to share it with the world.

Q. In your photo who are wearing & where did you purchase?

In the photo I am wearing a Black Tube Top from Torrid, Bootcut Right Fit Jeans from Lane Bryant, Accessories from Forever XXI and Black Wedged Peep Toes from Nine West.
Q. What does a SKORCH Doll do for fun?

A. I believe that if you work hard you should play harder. I love to get out and enjoy myself. This scorch doll is very family oriented so when I am not working , I love to spend time with those who are nearest and dearest to me. I love to shop, cook, dance, write poetry, shop, travel and did I say shop J. I believe in living each and everyday to the fullest as we all should.
Q. What does SKORCH mean to you & why did you want to be a SKORCH Doll?

A. SKORCH means a lot to me for it represents all that we are truly about. I am EXCITED to finally see a publication in print that is about REAL women like me. Curvy DIVAS are some true fashionistas and I think that SKORCH is showing the world that we will not be ignored, we are here and we are fabulous. I have never been more proud to be a Curvy DIVA than I am right now. SKORCH is not only putting fashion forward but it is empowering.

I wanted to be a SKORCH doll for many reasons but one of the most important is to show everyone that CURVY DIVAS come in all shapes and sizes. Some of my fellow 24+ DIVAS often count themselves out because they feel they are too CURVY which is not true. I proudly strut by 26 frame without pause or apology. I believe that we are all fabulous and have the right to proclaim that everyday. I know I do lol.
