Is it just me or is everyone sporting some fur? I’m loving the trend and really wondering why I ever scoffed at it before?! Obviously, I was crazy…because now I am coveting every piece of fur I see. These Skorch Bloggers are KILLIN’ it. Who’s YOUR favorite fur look from above?

Last Saturday my daughter and I went to see the Dallas Black Dance Theatre company perform. My daughter’s teacher, who is in the company, was kind enough to give us 2 tickets. What a BLESSING!! They did an amazing job and my daughter was so inspired and motivated to get more focused on her dance. It was very spur of the moment so I had to wear what I already had on. Ironically, it was a tutu!! lol Because this outfit has sort of a ballet meets military theme I thought it would be fun to pose in some military positions.
Position 1: “ATTEN…TION!!!” (with a handbag of course) lol

I LOVE CHRISTMAS!! To show just how much I love Christmas, during the month of December I will be wearing all things Christmas decor themed!! Sequins, glitter, velvet, gold, red and green. Shoot, I might even rock some Christmas ornaments!! haha and j/k
I found this double side slit silver glitter (that was a mouth full) skirt at a local thrift store and I love it! I paired it with a crisp white Ralph Lauren shirt along with my new favorite H&M lace scarf that I tied around my neck. The pink duster is Anne Klein and the black glitter zip up booties are by Steve Madden.

When I put on these faux leather pants (I.N.C. via Macy’s) I instantly felt rocker chic! When I think of leather pants, I always think of Jim Morrison of “The Doors” and his love for his leather pants (which he never took off)!! lol We all know that Jim was pretty much always on that “stuff” so I thought the title was fitting. I’m sure during some of his trips to la la land he met a few animals!! LOL I decided to pair my pants with this fabulous zebra blazer that I scored off eBay months ago. The blazer is a bit big but I still love it! Earrings are vintage and the shoes are by Modern Vintage.
WE LOVED YOU JIM!!

When I saw this playsuit on Asos.com a few months ago I feel in love!!! I loved the little silver studs all over it. I knew that it would look great with something underneath it, over it or alone. I decided to pair it with my white Ralph Lauren pintuck shirt and then took it a bit further by adding a sparkly broach to the collar. After I had everything on, I knew exactly what was missing…a “pop” of color!! I added my red Jeffrey Campbell wedges. I hope you like it! It is one of my fave looks thus far!

Hey look!!! I changed up my signature hairstyle, the bun, and moved it to the side!! lol
I know HUGE change, right!! lol

Today I threw on my favorite leopard coat dress (you’ve seen it several times lol) with boyfriend jeans. I dropped my daughter off at ballet and took a quick trip to Goodwill. Scored (2) dresses and a sweater for $18 total. YAY ME!!! lol

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I’m really enjoying the cooler weather here in Dallas!

I AM SO INTO ANYTHING PRINTED THESE DAYS! As you all know Stella McCartney’s fruit patterned collection was the bomb and after seeing it, I had to get my hands on something…anything fruit! I admit, I went a bit crazy with fruit print purchases. This dress was the favorite of my finds. I purchased this off of eBay for around $20! This jean vest was a DIY from an old jacket (I just cut off the sleeves) and I found the vintage Neiman Marcus handbag at a thrift store!! When I wore this dress I thought of Chiquita Banana so I decided to insert my name in her place, LOL. Do you own anything with fruit print?

Do you have something neutral in your closet that you think is boring? Well it doesn’t have to be. Take it out and add a “POP” of color! Which is exactly what I did with this jumpsuit from Asos Curve. I loved the fit and the concept however, I thought it was a bit plain on its own. I decided to add a bright red blazer, belt and shoes and in the words of Emeril Lagasse…”BAM”!!!! lol

I absolutely ADORE anything animal print. Zebra, Cheetah, Leopard, Giraffe or all of them combined. I found this awesome vintage Giraffe print tie neck blouse on eBay and I had to have it! I paired it with my harem tie ankle pants that remind me of a genie. What better way to compliment the genie pant’s than with a turban styled head accessory. I bought this turban at a local $ store and added the flower to give it a sort of June Ambrose vibe (I mean who doesn’t love June). I thought the hints of turquoise in the cuffs were the perfect compliment to the animal print blouse.
