Hey Skorchies-Terr Cacilia here!
Byron Lars is an American designer that has been dressing woman for 25 years. At his most recent NYFW showing, Byron Lars released his Spring/Summer 2017 designs- and it included plus size pieces. Lars’ plus size collection will go up to size 24, and is aiming to be “exclusively inclusive”.
SKORCH was on the scene as Byron Lars latest collection made its way down the runway in NYC at NYFW KIA Style 360 show.
This show was filled with such an incredibly human variety of bodies- such as Kristi Castlin(@kristihollywood), Bronze medal winner in Track and Field in the 2016 Olympics in Rio. She brought her best accessories onto the runway, her bronze metal and track shoes!
Jenna Rusnak(@thecurvyrebel) was just one of the many True Model Management models working the runway.
Jenna Rusnak also worked the red carpet-Check us out!
The collection was filled with textures and fabric combinations that kept you guessing and wanting more. A show with variety in style and size.
Our favorite moments were, of course, when a plus size silhouette took the runway- but this night wasn’t about size it was about great fashion.
Mr. Lars, it was an honor to see your first steps into this “exclusively inclusive” realm of fashion. I speak for the entire SKORCH team when I say that we look forward to seeing what your next move in creating fashion for the plus size woman will be!
