I Watched Smart Glamours NYFW Show From My Couch.

Smart Glamour is absolutely one of the most inclusive clothing lines on the market today. Their Spring  fashion show was one of the events I most looked forward to attending during NYFW. I reserved a spot for my best girl, and photographer Alex Liguori, and myself- the show was set for Friday February  19th.  There was a waiting list nearly 100 people long, and I felt so important to know I was going to attend this must see show.  The Wednesday before the show I was at the gym on the stair climber, slaying away, watching the Fashion Police when a familiar, and excruciating pain shot up my spin and down my legs. A previous back injury had flared back up, and my chances of going to this ground breaking show that I had been fantasizing about disappeared- or so I thought.

Friday night came, and I was home in my over sized sweatshirt, most comfy pajama pants-trying to not feel so bad about myself while watching some junk television with my Mom when I got a notification on my Cell Phone from Periscope that the Smart Glamour Spring Fashion Show was about to begin! Suddenly I was sitting front row at this event with the best seat in the house (my house that is!) The Spring pieces began making their way down the runway, and I was swept away by the new color combinations, fabric choices, and silhouettes- beautiful clothes on even more beautiful models who represent the everyday individuals in my life.

Not only was Smart Glamour inclusive in the sense of who the models are, but by broadcasting on Periscope now inclusive to anyone, anywhere that wanted to be a live audience member of this runway show.

While the entire SS2016 collection was incredible these are the pieces that made my heart flutter. You can shop the entire collection at sizes range from XXS-6x, everything is customizable, and hand made by Owner/Designer/Super Shero Mallorie Dunn.
