It is that special time of year! Your favorite plus size store is holding their ever popular modeling contest.  With finds like Tess Holliday this is a great way to meet and greet with the top people at Torrid. With their last open call happening Saturday, August 22nd at the Glendale Galleria, you won’t want to miss it! Be sure to visit https://torridcasting.castingcrane.com/ and RSVP ASAP!
Skorch had the privilege of sitting down with Torrid’s top model Lorna Litz for an inside scoop on modeling for Torrid!
Hey Lorna! Thanks for talking with Skorch! So, how do you feel about this contest?
Thank you for having me. I appreciate this interview. I am so excited for all the Torrid hopefuls coming out this Saturday. Torrid is looking for a girl who has no prior modeling experience, with a great personality and an awesome story. I think this is a great opportunity for the lucky winner. This is exciting!
Have you had a chance to check out any of the contestants?
if so, what do you think?
● I have…. and WOW! There are so many beautiful girls competing and I am sure they all have unique stories to share with great personalities. I wish them all the best of luck.
Why do you think it’s important for torrid to have these contests?
● Torrid is the TOP plus size clothing company marketing to women and girls sizes 12 – 28. They listen to the concerns and questions from their consumers. They take much pride in knowing what the Torrid women/girl wants. Having this search is simply one of the ways Torrid says “We appreciate you.”
What is it like being a model for torrid?
● It’s absolutely wonderful. I have been modeling with Torrid a little over two years and I love it. I am honored to contribute to their high standards of success and reach new heights with them.
What would you like to see in new new models for torrid?
● I would like to see her confidence shine through her beauty. I would love to hear her inspiring story. Maybe she’s the girl who always had a modeling dream but never pursued it until now, or maybe she is a nurse or a grad student or maybe a soldier in the army. I want her to be unique, inside and out.
I heard there are many girls coming out on Saturday at the Glendale galleria! What advice can you give all these girls that don’t make it through but still want to model?
● My advice to all you girls is don’t stop here. There are always disappointments on the road to success, therefore you must keep going!
Lastly, what is next for Lornalitz? Any big torrid campaigns coming up? We are so excited to see you booking huge clients like torrid! I’m glad that you are representing them at this mega event.
● Thank you very much for your support. What’s next for me is to continue waking up at 5am to fuel my ambition and desire to succeed. I will never be out worked and clients love this about me…I see myself campaigning for Torrid!!
Thank you for sitting down with us again! Best of luck ladies! Be sure to tag us #skorchxtorrid and tell us all about the event. Don’t forget visit https://torridcasting.castingcrane.com/ to RSVP for the Glendale Galleria event, 10am-5pm Saturday August 22nd!
