SKORCH on the Scene: Ashley Nell Tipton Capsule Collection.

Hey Skorchies,

Terr Cacilia  here to tell you all about the Ashley Nell Tipton capsule collection with JCPennys for The Boutique.

You may have seen the promotional videos for the collection making their rounds on social media, and SKORCH was on the scene  as it all went down in an open to the public runway show in Manhattan’s Greeley Square.

Ashley Nell Tipton the season 14 winner of Project Runway, and former SKORCH Magazine cover star released the capsule collection for The Boutique which is made up of 19 pieces, $125 and under, with sizes offered up to a 30W/5x! (Ashley & The Boutique also have an upcoming holiday collection that will be accessible starting Oct 28! Promised to be loaded with embellishment, and other seasonal details!) Having seen the show for myself I can say I am impressed with this entire collection.  I wanted to share some of the pieces that stole my heart as soon as I saw them making their way down the runway.

First off I was instantly drawn to this lipstick print skirt seen above on Ashley, and then again below on Sabrina Servance– (I secretly want this print made into a  cigarette pant.)

This is the most adorable, yet sophisticated print I have seen in a while!

Ms. Golden herself-Essie was rocking this matching two piece stripped black and pink ensemble that looks like it would be worn by the most popular girl in school.I love being given the option of wearing it together or separate!

I love a leather jacket. When a leather jacket has an additional detail of flowy fabric coming off its bottom half, I am the first in line! I live for the added drama, and Margie is rocking this jacket, knotted tee, and ripped jeggings so well!

As someone who lives pink, and all things that shimmer, as soon as Tess Holliday began making her way down the catwalk I was in awe. Tess was wearing a super trendy, and sequined bomber jacket over the same “Love You” tee as designer Ashley, and a knee length pink skirt.

Model Bianca Boutilier was the definition of casual cute in this flowy top, and ripped jeggings! The fabric of the top moved so elegantly. It was memorizing!

The biggest surprise was that the collection did not stop at super trendy plus size clothing, but there is also active wear included in this collection! This collection is so versatile, and really is for the everyday plus size woman!

Alex LaRosa did an awesome job rocking this active wear down the catwalk!
