Spring Makeup: Navy & Coral

Spring is here! It’s time to change up our makeup routines. I love bright colors, but sometimes it’s hard to incorporate them into a look that’s not drastic. After some brainstorming, I came up with this awesome navy liner and coral lip look!

  1. Cat eyeliner can be frustrating. Just take your time, and relax. Start with the tail end of the liner and work your way in. I used a brush to get this look. Use any color you like! There’s something about this navy liner that was so beautiful in person, it felt very nautical!
  2. When you’re doing a cat eye, it’s not necessary to line your bottom waterline with a dark pencil. A brown or taupe shadow brushed lightly under the waterline looks perfectly classic and glamorous.
  3. Tightlining your eyes, which is basically lining your upper water line and between the lashes with a soft black, will help blend your lashes into the look. Since its spring and so many of us have allergies, I use a waterproof mascara to tight line! It stays on beautifully and doesn’t smudge if your eyes water.
  4. Any bright lip looks fabulous, but I thought the coral looked gorgeous with the navy liner! Pick any color, and get an even lip line by using your foundation or concealer with a flat definer brush and run the product around the lip. That’s the secret to a pro lip look!

I love to finish this look with a light brush of highlighter on the high points of my face. A light peach highlighter looks great with this look!
